What is Managed Print Services (MPS)?

Managed Print Services is the Proactive management of devices, service and the consumable procurement within a business environment, allowing for better management and control of supply, replacement and proactive management of existing and suggested devices as well as uptime and productivity of these devices.

What is included in the Pambili Managed Print Service?

A Managed Print Sevices contract includes an assessment, right-sizing, pro-active management, and on-going optimization of the printing and imaging environment. Generally a Managed Print Service contact falls into a one or multi-year contract for the outsourced management of a fleet of single-function printers or multi-function peripherals (MFPs).

The Components of a Managed Print Service include:

  • Initial assessment (inclusive of solution design/optimization)
  • On-going optimization of the hardcopy device deployment to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Lifecycle management of printers, scanners, MFPs, etc. (install, move, add, change, dispose)
  • HC device repairs and maintenance and pro-active hardcopy device repairs and maintenance
  • Supplies replenishment and pro-active supplies replenishment
  • Help desk support for hardcopy devices: technical support for hardcopy devices provided onsite and/or off-premise
  • Education and end-user training
  • Real-time hardcopy-fleet usage monitoring and reporting
  • Formalized reporting on operations (device utilization, fleet performance and SLA/KPI metrics). Reporting also includes consolidated billing and contract management.
